When Lavern & Shirley came to rescue, they were extremely malnurished, loaded with parasites and truly looked like
something the cat drug in! As bad as ETPBR wanted to help, we had no where for these babies! Smokey Mountain Saint Bernard
Rescue stepped up an offered a place for thes two babies!
Shirley weighed only 1.9 pounds at 6 weeks old. She was so malnurished, we were afraid we would lose her before we could
get her to the vet! After fluids, a good worming and regular feedings - today, Shirley is 11 pounds! She has had first round
of shots with second round coming up next week. Shirley has been spayed. She is ready for her 4ever home and at 10 weeks is
a bouncing - rowdy bully girl!
Although Lavern was in much better shape than her sister, she too was loaded with parasites and suffering from malnutrition!
At 6 weeks, she was just barely 3 pounds. Today at 10 weeks, she is a whopping 15 pounds! Laver has had her first set of puppy
shots with the second set coming this week. She has been wormed twice and was spayed last week. Lavern is so sweet but she
is a typical bully pup - in to EVERYTHING! When her foster mom gets on to her - she quickly leaves things alone.
