Hemi was rescued in early September and within a week was adopted. Unfortunately, his owner very sadly had to give him
up. He realized that he was really a one-dog person and adding another young dog to his household demanded more time and attention
than he had available.
So Hemi was adopted by a family. They had to move and rented a place that would not allow Hemi. So after 5 months with
this family - once again - Hemi is back at the rescue. Hemi lived with small children and other dogs. He was a super boy in
all situations but this sweet, wonderful boy has become a victim of the character assination that is happening to Pit Bulls
all over the world.
Hemi is a wonderful guy. He is sweet and very playful. He gets along great with the other dogs in the rescue - is gentle
with the younger puppies and appropriately submissive with his elders. He has been through a 6-week basic obedience course.
Hemi is 1 yr old. He is neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated and being checked for HW. He is crate trained, house
trained, and an all around credit to his breed! Hemi will not be placed in a forever home until after September 1st, but this
special guy will not last long.
